Hello, I am Rev. Amy Lambert, and it is an absolute honor to serve as the pastor of First UMC Wadesboro, Morven UMC, Pleasant Hill UMC, and Anson Cooperative Parish. July 1, 2025, marks the beginning of my 6th year in pastoral ministry.
I grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina, and have been a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. I attended Pfeiffer University for my undergraduate degree in Religion and Practical Theology. After Pfeiffer, I moved to Durham to attend Duke Divinity School, where I was honored to be part of the Thriving Rural Fellows program. Serving rural UMC congregations is truly my passion in ministry.
When I’m not at church, I enjoy riding my motorcycle and spending time with my two adorable cats, Odin and Tonks.
