Nancy Zeman is a native of the Midwest, born and raised in Paris, Ill. She is a retired newspaper publisher/editor/reporter, having founded The Prairie Press in Paris in 2014 to better serve her community. She is a graduate of Indiana State University and had the privilege of watching Larry Bird play. While her profession is journalism, she and her late husband, Don Zeman, were owners of “Homefront with Don Zeman”, a nationally syndicated home improvement radio television show. After his sudden death in 2008, Nancy went to work for Chick-fil-A in marketing. She directed high school drama in her hometown for 12 years as well as middle school drama for five years. She’s not the best singer, but she enjoys her time with the Anson Singers and currently is the stage manager for the Uwharrie Players upcoming musical “Once Upon a Mattress”. Nancy lives in Ansonville at The Oaks with Stuart, Lied, Ari, and Calhoun Metcalf where she enjoys mowing, swimming, and reading. Please come by the office so she can get to know each of you better!
