First United Methodist Church
Music is a vital part of our worship and church life at First United Methodist Church. We are blessed with an active music program for all ages and talents.
We are indeed fortunate to have a wide variety of musical instruments at First United Methodist Church. The main organ is a 22-rank Moller instrument, and is one of the finest organs in the area. Additionally we have a smaller pipe organ in the Chapel. Other instruments include a grand piano in the sanctuary, a full range of Orff tuned-percussion instruments, 4 octaves of handbells, and a Kurzweil digital keyboard. In December, 2001 we were fortunate to receive the gift of a 222-bell carillon. The carillon plays 3 times daily, and enhances our presence in downtown Wadesboro.
